Each year the Lakelandwebs project will support a local charity in its fundraising. This years chosen charity is the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team, on Cumbrias West Coast. We are aiming to help fund them for a year by asking every visitor to our sites to dontate online a minimum of pound. Its easy and quick to do, so why not help?

We are trying to raise enough as possible for the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team, the Lakelandwebs chosen charity of 2006. It couldn't be easier to help us, just clcik the pay now button and use your Paypal account, Credit or Debit card to donate one pound to the team 9 or more if you are feeling flush !

We will keep a running total on the site and aim to raise a years opporational costs for the team, thats Fifteen Thousand pounds on average. So please help us out and pledge us some cash

Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team is entirely dependant on Charitable donations to survive, it provides emergency cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is made up of volunteer mountaineers who recieve no payment for their services. So go on , give them a hand, you never know when YOU might need them.
