The bright restaurant overlooks the patio and to the lawn and Lakeland fells beyond. You are invited to peruse the dinner menu in front of the roaring open fire in our cosy lounge bar, which offers a wide variety of drinks including traditional hand pulled English beers and ales plus a superb selection of Scotland's finest Malt Whiskies.
Resident chef, Ian Manley, now in his 12th year at the hotel and his small and enthusiastic team have devised a style of cooking which is unique to The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. Using only the finest seasonal local produce including game, meat and fish we can proudly claim an extremely high standard of cuisine that you will want to sample again and again. Our excellent selection of dishes also extends to our range of vegetarian meals.
Great care has been taken in selecting our wines and the list includes New World as well as our own individual selection of French Country wines of high quality. We hope you enjoy our selection as much we did in researching it!
